More Book Recs

I've been involved in an online project where a group of us are reading a book a month for a year. It's been a good way to get me reading again--and was quite fun to come up with a list.

I can recommend "Wolf Hall" for an absorbing and very well-written, at times thrilling, piece of historical fiction.

Also Van Reid's "Moosepath League" books.

And how about Alexander McCall Smith's Mma Ramotswe series?

    I just read a review about Wolf Hall, looking for a Christmas gift for my mom, who loves those period books. I thought it sounded perfect for her. Have you read any Phillipa Gregory, The White Queen or The Red Queen?
